Pure Virgin Coconut Oil Soap with Loofah

“Because your skin is the largest organ in your body, what you put on your skin soaks in” – Miranda Kerr

Our VCO SOAP + Loofah is a Premium All- Natural Mild soap made with Organic pure Virgin Coconut oil. It is rich in Vitamin E and Antioxidants to gently smoothen and revitalize skin, has natural anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal properties of lauric acid and is free from fragrances and titanium oxide. We threw in small loofah slices for gentle exfoliation to brighten your skin , scrub off toxins and give your skin a massage to make it supple and glowing.

What excites us more is our collab with the Gat Uban Weavers of Mauban in Quezon Province for the handwoven soap cases made of Buri.

Gat Uban Weavers of Mauban Quezon Philippines shown here with the Senior Tourism Operations Officer, Ms. Anie M. Calleja.

There is a forthcoming book, written by Ms Anie M. Calleja, entitled “Nilala: Tradisyunal na Industriya at Sining ng mga Kababaihan” (loosely translated it means “Nilala: Traditional Industry and Art of Women”), that delves on the history of weaving in Mauban and Quezon. It is being readied for printing by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts. With a recognition from the National Book Development Board for preserving Filipino Culture and Arts.

Ms. Anie is the compleat public servant, and a true servant leader.  She has brought Mauban’s tourism industry to where it is now with pure grit, persistence and growth mindset.  That tourists who are now lining up at the Mauban port to get to Cagbalete Island,  is a testament to how Anie helped shape the landscape of tourism in Mauban. The island is now a must-go-to tourist destination. And through sustainable Tourism, Anie has transformed Mauban into a vibrant community of entrepreneurs.

” But isn’t this what we all should aspire to be? A servant of the people but first and foremost a servant of God ”
